Ignacio Meneses López

Social anthropologist from the University of Chile, with experience in social impact assessment, citizen participation, indigenous consultation, and direct work with communities and territorial organizations. His approach combines social research tools with a human rights perspective, socio-environmental resilience, and territorial analysis.

He has collaborated with CODEPU as manager of the United Nations Emergency Fund (2024) and on sociocultural projects related to memory, inclusion, and community participation. With training in cultural ecology, territorial analysis, and digital tools (GIS, SPSS, Atlas.ti), he brings an interdisciplinary perspective that connects regulations, territory, and communities.

At EIS-Ambiental, he collaborates in the assessment of the human component, regulated and voluntary citizen participation, and due diligence processes, integrating relevant regulatory standards and cultural instruments. He applies qualitative and quantitative methodologies in field data collection, stakeholder analysis, and the development of engagement strategies in complex contexts.
