Sociologist from the University of Concepción, with 15 years of experience in social assessment, community and indigenous relations, and strategy design for high-impact projects in mining, energy, and territorial development. She has led grassroots processes, integrating diverse actors in highly environmentally sensitive contexts, especially in northern Chile.
Thiare has advised companies, public institutions, and communities, distinguishing herself as an expert in stakeholder analysis, stakeholder mapping, social baseline development, and drafting chapters for DIA and EIA in the human environment component. Throughout her career, she has worked for the public and private sectors, including BHP, CONADI, regional consulting firms, and international organizations such as GIZ, with whom she co-authored a regional study on operational complaint mechanisms in mining.
At EIS Ambiental, he leads technical and strategic consulting services in citizen participation, indigenous consultation, and social impact management, applying international standards (IFC, OECD, ICMM). His approach combines technical rigor, cultural sensitivity, and strategic vision, ensuring social license, regulatory compliance, and sustainability in every project.
