Where EIS-Ambiental was born
EIS-Ambiental was founded under the name Evaluación de Impacto Social y Ambiental (Social and Environmental Impact Assessment) as a pioneering consulting firm in Chile in the implementation of the Social Impact Assessment (SIA) methodology in the context of the SEIA. From the outset, we understood that environmental assessment should not be a formality, but rather a powerful tool for building territorial legitimacy, promoting dialogue, and generating institutional trust.
At the heart of our approach is due diligence, not as an imposed obligation, but as a principle that guides every action, every report, and every decision we make alongside our clients. We apply this approach to anticipate risks, strengthen process traceability, and ensure that each stage is based on sound technical, social, and regulatory criteria.
Our work
Our work is not focused solely on obtaining an RCA. We are committed to supporting our clients in building consistent, well-founded, and sustainable environmental processes that can respond robustly to any technical, administrative, or legal requirements. We do not shield projects from stakeholders; we strengthen them from within, with transparency, strategy, and institutional trust.
EIS-Ambiental is not a traditional consulting firm. Our team is not only made up of social scientists. We are also lawyers, environmental engineers, geologists, chemical engineers, biologists, and surveyors, who work in an interdisciplinary manner to understand the human environment in all its complexity.
