Gustavo Zambrano Chávez

A lawyer from the Pontifical Catholic University of Peru (PUCP) and holder of a Master's degree in Applied Business Ethics from Linköping University (Sweden), Gustavo is a leading figure in Latin America in the fields of human rights, indigenous peoples, and corporate sustainability.

He has led indigenous institutions in Peru as Director General of Indigenous Peoples at the Ministry of Culture and Head of INDEPA, and has worked with organizations such as FAO and ILO on projects related to food security, due diligence, and intercultural dialogue.

Associate professor at PUCP and member of the Peruvian Institute for Human Rights and Business (IPEDHU), he integrates ethics, interculturality, and law into the practical management of social risks, strengthening coherence between companies, the state, and communities.

At EIS-Ambiental, he leads advisory services in indigenous consultation, human rights risk assessment, and intercultural governance, providing strategic vision, legal traceability, and territorial legitimacy for projects that seek to develop sustainable and trusting relationships.
